Your Burner Karma begins long before the event; be keenly aware of how your interactions impact it. Our camp has an unwaivering core of wonderful people who joined us because they support our vision, projects and activities. Good Burners make a commitment and stick with it, expecting nothing and savor everything experienced and received as the wonderful gifts they are.
Burning Man culture is a reflection of the attitudes most responsible for a successful event. It guides attendees toward being better human beings in an alternative society. Self-reliance and radical expression are just two of the guiding principles, but are particularly important to understanding the role of theme camps and their members.
Camp Photos
Being a theme camp at Burning Man is a significant undertaking, a blend of challenge and reward. Within the bustling temporary town of Black Rock City, which hosts around 70,000 people, there are only about 1,400 theme camps. The competition is intense, with twice as many applicants not making the cut. The camps that do get selected stand out because of their exceptional 'wow factor' and their dedication to contributing to the vibrant, gifting culture that is the heart of Burning Man.
At Burning Man, the spirit of the event is largely fueled by these theme camps and the volunteer participants who bring them to life. They are the main source of entertainment and interactive experiences, offering far more in these areas than the Burning Man organization itself. Burning Man Forms
BurningMan burner profile. In order to get tickets in the future you have to have a Burner Profile. Build your profile here and be ready for when tickets go on sale.
Burning Man ticket site. All tickets are sold through this site. Tickets will sell out quickly and you must be ready when they are released. NOTE: Even if you don't get tickets, you will find tickets after - The Playa Provides.
