2019 Early Registration
Note: We're reducing the camp population this year and a lot of members want to return, so membership is becoming more exclusive.
- Submit a camp application
- Your application is reviewed by staff
- You will receive notification of acceptance or not
- Dues are paid to cover camp expenses
- You are confirmed as a camp member, your space reserved
Order of selection:
First we confirm prior camp members in good standing (worked hard, contributed much, did what was requested, and amplified good camp vibes).
Second, we confirm applicants who were referred by camp veterans (be sure to mention who is referring you in the notes).
Third, if we have any space remaining, we will choose new members to invite. Competition will be high, so those adding the most value to camp will be prioritized. (hint: excel at building, hauling, and special skills that may include any of the following: LED expertise, Arduino programming, bike maintenance, musical or graphical artistry, sewing canvass, machine maintenance, or metal working).
What's the name you'd like us to call you?
What's your legal first and last name?
Do you have a ticket?
Where will you be traveling from?
How will you be camping?
TentMotorhomeRV TrailerShared (not personally bringing anything to camp in...but you must be with someone in camp who is)
When do you plan on arriving and leaving?
How many burns have you attended?
Tell us about yourself, include skills, talents and interests.
Is there anything extra (tents, seating, tables, lighting, etc.) you can bring for camp use? Are you signed up for any volunteering with Burning Man? (Only because we are curious if you are involved in other volunteering outside of camp). Any skill or craft that you'd like to offer?
I agree to render $250 for my contribution to infrastructure and interactivity when requested if accepted to camp.
Note: This relationship is mutual: once you commit to camp, camp commits to you. Dues are considered donations and are not refundable because long before the event, we spend ALL the funds on infrastructure, service contracts, and interactivity gifts to the Burn. We're mounting an expedition and adjust our camp specifically to accommodate you; those expenditures still happen if you later decide you can't make it.
Answer this question so we know you aren't a robot:
What is the spiritual principle of cause and effect that is also the first word in the name of this camp?
Thank you for your interest in our camp. If we run out of space and can't fit you in, one way to achieve priority next year would be to stop by and help us tear down camp and prepare infrastructure for storage in Gerlach. This takes place Monday through Wednesday after the event. The best way we get to know people is through working together. Trust builds with effort and that is a major trait that sustains our presence at Burning Man.
